Allazo – Reborn

I’m working this out a bit online. I have decided to rekindle Allazo. This was the name I gave my consulting business some 15 or 20 years ago. A consulting practice built out of necessity. The first time I was fired – for reasons I still don’t understand. But I tried, I rebuilt and I engaged – I made my next job and it started a new path. Then I gave the name to Stephanie to build her consulting and accounting practice. She now has her career, a new one and a new purpose. So I’m taking it back.

But I realized something: Allazo is not a company. It is a name I gave to my resilience 20 years ago, and it has followed me here. It expresses itself in two directions — both of which are about helping people see clearly.

Creating art. Helping
others express theirs.
Thirty-eight years of
pattern recognition.

I have lived 21 years of formation and 38 years of building. Now begins something different — not a winding down, but a third act with more intention than the first two combined.

I am someone who builds meaning through language before form. I see what is unfolding before others name it. I am a quiet force — not a manager, not a director. A catalyst. Someone who helps others reach what they were already reaching for.

I inherited a photographer’s desire to create and a maker’s hands. I learned resilience not from a book but from being knocked down at exactly the right moment. Allazo — change — is not just a brand name. It is an accurate description of how I move through the world.

If nothing else, this gives you some insight into who I am becoming.

I wrote that to my children three days ago. I will keep it. It’s the truest sentence for my personal compass going forward.
